Roadside Assistance

When you drive a new Toyota, we want you to feel confident every time you get behind the wheel — including when the unexpected happens. Toyota Roadside Assistance gives you peace of mind with 24/7 emergency support, helpful services, and dependable care whenever and wherever you need it.

What It Is

Toyota Roadside Assistance is a complimentary service provided with new Toyota vehicles. It helps you handle roadside events safely and efficiently — things like battery issues, tire problems, lockouts, or the need for towing.

How Long It Lasts

  • New Vehicles receive 36 months (3 years) of Roadside Assistance with unlimited kilometres.
  • Certified Used Vehicles receive a minimum of 12 months of Roadside Assistance.

Coverage begins when the vehicle is first registered. For full terms and eligibility, refer to your Owner’s Manual Supplement.

What’s Included

Here are the key services Toyota Roadside Assistance provides to help you in common roadside situations:

  • Battery Boost: If your vehicle won’t start, a technician can help with a jump-start or arrange towing if necessary.
  • Flat Tire Service: Installation of your spare tire if you experience a flat.
  • Lockout Assistance: Help if you accidentally lock your keys inside your vehicle.
  • Fuel Delivery: A small supply of fuel if you run out, or towing for electric vehicles that need charging.
  • Winching/Extraction: Assistance if your vehicle is stuck in snow, mud, or a ditch.
  • Towing: Towing service to your preferred Toyota dealer (if within a certain distance), or to the nearest Toyota dealer. In case of an accident, towing to a collision reporting center may also be included.

Extra Benefits

  • 24/7, 365-day coverage: No matter when or where trouble strikes, help is just a call away.
  • Alternate Service Reimbursement: If you couldn’t use official Roadside Assistance first, you may be eligible for reimbursement up to certain limits.
  • Owner’s Manual Details: All terms and conditions, including what is and isn’t covered, are clearly outlined in your Owner’s Manual Supplement.

Why It Matters

  • Peace of mind: You’re never alone if an unexpected issue happens.
  • Added safety: Especially useful in remote areas or during harsh weather conditions.
  • Protects your investment: Getting prompt help reduces stress and can prevent further damage to your vehicle.

What To Do If You Need Help

  1. Ensure safety first: move your vehicle off the road if possible and turn on hazard lights.
  2. Call the Toyota Roadside Assistance number provided in your Owner’s Manual.
  3. Be ready to provide details: your vehicle information (make, model, VIN), your location, and what type of service you need.
  4. Keep any receipts: if you had to pay for emergency service before contacting Roadside Assistance, keep documentation as you may be eligible for reimbursement.
